State police at Frackville are investigating these cases:

• A theft was reported at 4 p.m. May 25. A 52-year-old Barnesville man reported it happened along Spruce Avenue in Ryan Township. Police did not say what was taken.

• Hometown Scrap & Recycling in Tamaqua, was cited for disorderly conduct after they were called there for a false alarm at 4:49 a.m. June 16. Police said it was the fourth time in a 12-month period that they were called to the business at 121 Lincoln Drive.

• Police are investigating a burglary that was reported at 2:32 p.m. May 17 at a business at the intersection of Hilltop Road and North Main Street in Schuylkill Township.

A 60-year-old man from Fogelsville reported his property was broken into and copper piping was removed from inside the business.
