Schuylkill County Judge Christopher Hobbs recently sentenced two local people.
Kenneth L. Kryworuka, 50, of Barnesville, was charged by Mahanoy City Police Office Jordan J. Smith with giving false identification to police; driving while his license was suspended or revoked - for at least the third time; failing to make a U-turn safely; operating a vehicle without insurance; and careless driving on April 23, 2022.
Judge Hobbs accepted his guilty pleas to the false identification and driving while his license was suspended.
On the identification charge, Hobbs sentenced Kryworuka to pay court costs, pay a $50 monthly supervision fee, and serve 6 to 12 months in the county jail, with credit for the time he served from May 15 to June 21.
On the license charge Judge Hobbs sentenced him to serve the same amount of time, concurrently, and to pay a $2,500 fine plus $77 in fees.
Danielle Marie Stahler, 34, of Coaldale, was accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program ARD for 12 months.
If she successfully completes the program, for first time, non-violent offenders, she may have her record expunged.
She’ll pay $500 to offset the cost of the program, plus a total of $275 in fees.
Stahler will surrender her license for 60 days, and render 10 hours of community service.
Walker Township Police Officer Harry E.V. Brown charged Stahler with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, impaired ability, first offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 17, 2022.
