The engagement of Jennifer Clarkson of Silver Spring, Md., to James Greene, also of Silver Spring, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Clarkson of Needham, Mass.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Susan Greene of Lehighton.A wedding is planned for October of this year.
