Area fire companies were called to a former Kovatch building late Wednesday morning when insulation caught on fire during demolition.

The owners, Narrow Valley Sports, posted, “All is fine, no damage done.”

The company said, “We would like to extend a sincere thanks to all of the local fire companies, EMS, and police that responded. Their quick response helped prevent any major damage from being done. We have the best first responders!”

Several local fire companies were on scene.
