Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Road, Lehighton will hold Sunday worship service at 9 a.m. for June, July, and August. Communion service will be the first Sunday of each month.

• The Barnstormer Concert will be held at Ben Salem at 7:30 p.m. July 8. Repertoire of Oldies, Pop, Show and Patriotic tines. Free admission with a free will offering.

• Homemade shoo fly pie sale. Deadline for orders is Aug. 13. Pick up date is Aug. 19 in the Ben Salem Fellowship Hall from 1-2:30 p.m. Call 570-386-2880 or 570-386-3870 to place the order.

Trinity Happenings

First Saturday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, is at 4 p.m. on July 1.

Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides.

The Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays (and third Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.) with an outdoor drive-up setting. Residents who reside in the Lehighton Area School District are eligible to receive supplemental food.

The food pantry will be closed on the Fourth of July. Distribution is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 5.

The Trinity Thrift Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays. Donation drop-offs are accepted during store hours on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, limited to five bags or boxes.

Community Vacation Bible School is Aug. 1-3 at 6 p.m. Free registration for children Pre-K through grade 6 is available by contacting the church office during business hours.
