Mrs. Edith Bohovich of 337 West White Street, Summit Hill, has been appointed food service worker II in the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging and will fill the manager vacancy that currently exists at the Summit Hill Senior Center.

The appointment was made Tuesday by the Carbon County Board of Commissioners, acting on the recommendation of Leonard F. Marzen Jr., director of the county agency.

Marzen said he received approval from James Wagner, Counties Civil Service personnel coordinator, to hire Mrs. Bohovich an emergency basis. She will eventually have to attain provisional certification in order to retain employment. Her appointment became effective June 26 at a salary of $3.25 per hour.
