In an effort to support local businesses that were affected by the fire at Fountain Court on June 25, business owners are encouraged to come to Pocono Township Municipal Building from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to report business loss.

This includes businesses affected by the 611 road closure or the power outage from Rimrock Drive to Stadden Road are also encouraged to fill out the survey to report losses.

Staff from Monroe County Office of Emergency Management and Pocono Township will be able to assist in filling out the surveys.

Information that should be brought include: List of lost content (Furniture and fixtures, inventory, equipment and machinery); how much of the loss is covered by insurance, estimated revenue loss, revenue of the same time period of the prior year and number of employees.
