A man was shot early Sunday morning at the Waffle House on Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, according to state police.

Troopers from the Bethlehem barracks were dispatched at 3 a.m. to 1783 Airport Road to investigate a shooting report.

Troopers gave medical assistance to a man who was shot.

He was taken Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

There were no other injuries reported.

Troop M Forensic Service Unit and Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are assisting troopers in investigation.

Police said there is no threat to the public relating to the incident.
