The winners open the game with a three-run first as Corey Schaeffer delivers a two-run single and Todd Fredericks hits an RBI triple. Lehighton plates three more in the fourth on Matt Ligenza’s two-run double and a run-scoring single by Brian Steigerwalt. After Palmerton closes the deficit to two runs, Steigerwalt comes through with an RBI single in the sixth and Fredericks drives in two more with a double to seal the win. Ligenza finishes with a team-high three hits.
