Lehigh Gap Nature Center will host its annual Pollinator Day, celebrating Pennsylvania’s native pollinators, on Saturday.
This year’s festival will focus on the important - and lesser known - role of beetles as pollinators.
Visitors can learn how to attract native pollinators to their yards and purchase a variety of native plants at the annual plant sale.
For the second year, Pollinator Day will also feature a themed art exhibition with pieces available for purchase. Children and families are invited to join participate in pollinator-themed activities and guided nature walks. Food will be provided all day by Big Papa’s food truck.
In the case of inclement weather, the nature center will still have activities indoors.
