Schuylkill County PrideFest 2023 returns to the Schuylkill County fairgrounds from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The event is presented by Youth Empowerment & Support-Schuylkill and will feature two live musicians, drag performances, speakers, and more.
This year’s event features local businesses, artisans, food vendors, and of course a full schedule of drag performances.
Schuylkill County PrideFest is free to the public.
Folk singer Autumn Sky Hall at 2 p.m. and The Dynamics Department at 4 p.m.
There will be yoga and meditation throughout the day, basket raffles, and DJ entertainment by Kaotic Entertainment.
The goal of Youth Empowerment & Support is to build a safe space for the youth of rural Pennsylvania to learn alongside their peers. In addition to organizing PrideFest each year, the group offers resources and support for individuals in need of gender assignment.
