Tamaqua police charged Dale Salabsky, 75, of Tamaqua, after a borough woman said he kissed her and grabbed her inappropriately on May 23. He pleaded guilty in district court on June 12.
Officers spoke to the woman, who lives in the same East Broad Street apartment building as Salabsky. She said Salabsky knocked on her door, and when she opened it he came inside and said, “I want my kiss.” She refused but she said he forcefully kissed her, touched her inappropriately and made lewd comments.
Police said a witness reported seeing Salabsky on the floor where the woman resides.
Officers spoke to Salabsky, who claimed the woman wanted a kiss and that he did touch her.
Police charged Salabsky with harassment/subject other to physical contact.
