The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following personnel items at their meetings on May 25 and June 8:
• Athletic volunteers - Kassidy McKeever, field hockey; John Brennan;
• Building volunteers - Kelly Patrice and Kyra Eilber;
• Change of current assignment - Alison Hudzinski, learning support at PVHS to special education at PVHS;
• Hiring of professional staff - Samantha Long, first-grade teacher, PVES, Step 1, $47,357; replacing Karen Gianotti due to a change in assignment;
• Hiring of PV Cub Summer Academy staff - Bethany Long, substitute teacher, $92 per day; India Johnson and Shelley Kuehn, substitute paraprofessional associates, $72 per day; Jennifer O’Keefe, speech teacher, $23 per hour; Tiffany Steigerwalt (June 12-15), and Rachel Borger (June 26 - 29), both registered nurses, $55 per hour; Sandi Kaspszyk, Catherine Lauchnor and Vanessa Murphy, all substitute teachers, $92 per day;
• Hiring of retiree as support staff day-to-day substitute - Cheryl Heckman, secretary;
