Carbon dropped a Lehigh Valley Legion contest to South Parkland on Friday.

South Parkland cruised to a 12-2 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over the Carbon Monarchs.

Winning pitcher Owen Delong allowed just four hits and struck out four.

Ben Stay, Kurt Meehan, Nilay Patel and Michael Kohler all knocked in two runs for South Parkland.

For Carbon, Aiden Rarick and Brady O’Donnell both had a hit and scored a run. Rarick’s hit was a double.

The win allowed South Parkland to remain undefeated at 7-0-1, while the Monarchs slipped to 2-6.
