State police at Hazleton released information on crashes:

• A 2022 Jeep Gladiator operated by Dickson E. Marquez Silfa, 37, of Tamaqua, was struck by a runaway vehicle at 6:11 p.m. May 30 on Interstate 81 in Hazle Township. He was uninjured.

Police said he was northbound on the interstate when a vehicle crossed from the right to left lane and struck the Gladiator. After the collision, the crossing vehicle continued north on the interstate.

Police said Marquez Silfa was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.

• Indira Rodriguez, 46, of Hazleton, sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. May 26 on Spring Mountain Road in Banks Town ship.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.

Police said she was driving a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner northbound when it experienced a mechanical failure. Police said the vehicle left the road, struck a rock embankment and overturned. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Police said Rodriguez was cited for the crash.
