Local roundup: Results from June 13
Franklin Township and Palmerton both posted Lehigh Valley Connie Mack League victories on Tuesday.

Franklin Twp.-Lower Mac
Franklin Township jumped out to an early lead, and made it hold up as it edged Lower Mac by a 5-4 score in Connie Mack play.
Cash White and Chase Llwellyn both combined on a three-hitter for the winners. Starting pitcher White gained the win, allowing three runs and four walks while striking out four. Llwellyn registered the save, as he didn’t surrender a hit and fanned two.
Tegan Hettler had a hit, a run and an RBI for Franklin, while Brayden Ulshafer added a hit and a run. Quinn Heimbach also chipped in with a hit and an RBI.

Palmerton-E. Stroudsburg
Gaige Vezo collected four hits to help Palmerton earn an 11-6 Connie Mack victory over East Stroudsburg.
Vezo finished with two singles and two doubles, scored three runs and knocked in four. He also earned the pitching win, as he combined with Dirk Strohl on a two-hitter.
Strohl added a pair of hits, two RBIs and a run, while Nate Frantz finished with two hits, two runs and two RBIs. The winners also received a pair of hits and a run from Connor Lawless.

Krajcirik’s Automotive (Lansford) and Mrs. T’s (Shenandoah) battled to a 7-7 tie in Schuylkill Teener League action.
Brennan Kunkle had two hits, one a double, and scored two runs for Krajcirik’s, who pushed across a run in the home sixth to knot the score.
Lansford also received a hit and two RBIs from Connor Penberth, while Logan Fisher scored a pair of runs. Cameron Caffery chipped in with a hit and an RBI, and Marco Tessitore added a hit and a run.
Brady Jones tossed five innings in relief, allowing just two hits and one earned run while striking out eight.

Salisbury-Carbon Monarchs
Austin Spisszak tossed a two-hit shutout, as Salisbury rolled to a 9-0 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over the Carbon Monarchs.
Spisszak struck out six and walked two.
Jake Zellin paced Salisbury with three singles and two RBIs.
Carbon leadoff hitter Aiden Rarick had both hits for the Monarchs (2-4).

It wasn’t Northern Valley’s day, as Southern Lehigh cruised to a 19-6 Lehigh Valley Legion win.
Cai Dunn sparked the winners with a double, a homer, two runs and six RBIs.
Jack Massey and Thanos Milios both chipped in with three hits. Massey scored four times and had three RBIs, while Milios added three runs and knocked in three.
For the Chargers, now 4-2, Sam Mauro connected for a three-run home run in the fourth inning. Austin Eisenhard also finished with two singles and an RBI.
