The Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad will be reconstructing the railroad crossing at the Five Points intersection in Tamaqua beginning Monday. The railroad will be removing the damaged concrete panels around the tracks and paving the crossing.

The work will begin at 7 a.m., weather permitting.

Traffic on West Broad Street will be restricted to one lane, and the entire roadway may be closed at times to accommodate instruction.

Drivers on routes 209 and 309 may experience delays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
