The Mostoskys pitched the Birches to a win over Nazareth on Friday.

The pitching of Nate Mostosky and Ben Mostosky helped the Birches gain a 5-2 NorCo Legion victory over Nazareth.

Nate Mostosky started and allowed both Nazareth runs in 4 2/3 innings. He walked three and struck out five. Ben Mostosky relieved in the fifth and tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the save. He allowed just one hit and no walks while fanning one.

John Smale finished with a hit and two runs for the Birches, while Andrew Meitzler delivered an RBI double. Rylan Adamski added a run-scoring single.

Nazareth was led by Jake Dally’s three hits.

Lehigh Twp-Palmerton

Lehigh Township rallied with eight unanswered runs to gain a 10-5 Connie Mack win over Palmerton.

The Bombers, who outhit their opponent 8-6, led by a 5-2 score after four innings but Lehigh tallied five times in the fifth to take the lead for good.

Christian Ortiz had two hits, a run and an RBI for Palmerton while teammate Connor Buck also collected a pair of hits. Dirk Strohl added a hit and two RBIs, Nate Frantz tripled and scored a run, and Gaige Vezo finished with a hit, a run and an RBI.
