LVHN COLLEAGUE OF THE MONTH
Alison E. Reppert
Town: Lehighton
Work location: LVH-Carbon
Job title: Radiologic Technologist
Department you work in: Radiology
About your job, and why you like it: I primarily work in the operating room by providing X-ray images to assist the surgeons during procedures. I also get to meet patients through an inpatient and outpatient basis by performing X-rays in our department. Every day I make connections with patients and work with my team to think outside of the box to obtain the images we need. Being able to work as a team and to be an integral part of the care for patients in my own community is very important to me.
How long have you worked there: I have been with LVHN for 7.5 years, mainly at Muhlenberg. I transferred to LVHN-Carbon when we opened in June 2022.
Challenges/proud moments of your job: Everyday has its challenges, from big to small. Being able to work so close with all our team members to put patients minds at ease and to obtain the highest quality images makes me proud every day.
Background, Education: Northampton Community College- Associates degree, graduated 2012
Family information: My husband and I have been married for 4 years and have two kids, Ezekiel and Jeremiah. We enjoy going to baseball games, sampling all kinds of food, and traveling. I enjoy cooking and art but being a mom has given me the most joy I’ve known … challenges and all! Our youngest son is 2 years old, so most of my time is spent with him. Watching him learn and grow into a tiny human has been the best experience.
Why you like working for LVHN: I love working for LVHN because of their vision and because of the relationships that I have developed. Building connections between patients and colleagues has always been a priority of mine. Providing the best care possible and being able to work for a network that is aligned with that means the world to me.
