Rush-Ryan Seniors
The Rush-Ryan-Delano senior citizens met on May 23 with 42 members in attendance. New member Margaret Hegarty was given a warm welcome. Nancy Eisley and Grace Sakusky were added to the sick list, while Alice Tite and Ruth Betz were welcomed back by the group.
A basket donated by Linda Mundy and flower arrangement donated by Mary Ann Fisher were chanced off. Winners were Jayne McLaughlin and Carol Sedlock.
The group meets at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Christ Church, Barnesville. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

Luncheon
Pottsville Christian Women’s club is hosting a “Red, White & Blue” luncheon at 11:30 a.m., June 13 at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 101 Graeff St., Cressona.
Cynthia Allan is the speaker and will talk about “A single Mom’s journey to security.” Special music will be provided by Connor Snyder.

Tamaqua Seniors
The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on May 25 with 22 members in attendance. Secretary Ruthann Feane opened the meeting with the reading “Memorial Holiday.”
The group meets at every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Coaldale Complex. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.
Calvary Lewistown
Miss Ellie McCarthy, Child Evangelism Fellowship and a summer missionary will offer the message at the 10:25 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical Church, Lewistown Valley. We will also be celebrating all graduates. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Evening service with sharing by Mr. Carl Heisler at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 prayer and share at 7 p.m.
Upcoming events: Child Evangelism Fellowship Day Camp at Lewistown Valley Tabernacle for ages child entering first grade (completed kindergarten) to those entering seventh grade (completed sixth grade) 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 26-30.
