In nine innings of work, Metzger scatters three singles in three different frames and only walks two. He also finishes with six strikeouts. Danny Kunkle collects two hits and knocks in three runs for the winners, while Gary Zedonek adds a double and solo homer. Lehighton also receives a pair of hits from both Bill Kunkle and Bobby Ziegenfuss.
