Larry Padora is currently leading the Schuylkill County Commissioners race for one of two spots on the Republican ballot, with 4.715 votes, with 88% of the votes counted.

Incumbent Barron “Boots” Hetherington has 3,866 votes.

Other candidates are, Mary Jo Moss, 3,406; Maria Casey, 2,753; Jeffrey J. Dunkel, 2,204; incumbent George Halcovage, 1,945; Dan Evans, 2,203, and Ray Jones, 1,431.

On the Democratic side, incumbent Gary J. Hess is campaigning for another term in office. Also running is Rita Anczarski Baldino, Kline Township.
