With 13 of 13 precincts reporting the votes for the District Judge 56-3-03 position, Billy O’Gurek has won the Democratic ticket with a total of 418 votes while Beth A. Dodson has won the Republican ticket with 609 votes. The two will now face off in the November General Election.
A total of seven candidates were vying for the opportunity to serve. Current District Judge Casimir Kosciolek is retiring at the end of the year.

Final results for two other districts, whose district judges ran unopposed, are:
• 56-3-01: Eric M. Schrantz, 1,134 (Democrat) and 9 write-ins; and 1,290 (Republican) and 16 write-ins.
• 56-3-02: Bill Kissner, 759 (Democrat) and 3 write-ins; and 1,238 (Republican) and 4 write-ins.
