The 179th session of the Philadelphia Methodist Annual Conference held in Philadelphia closed yesterday with the announcement of pastoral changes by Bishop Fred P. Corson.

Two changes were announced for this area. The Rev. Maurice F. Montgomery, former pastor of Grace Methodist Church, Jim Thorpe, and now pastor of the First Methodist Church, Summit Hill, has been transferred to Harrisburg and will be replaced by the Rev. W.E. Harper.

The Rev. Harold Burkett, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church, Lehighton, will become pastor of the Wesley-Arlington Heights Church and will be succeeded by the Rev. J.R. Hallam.

Rev. Robert Koehler will return to pastor the Jim Thorpe church.
