Ron Slivka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Slivka of East Center Street, Nesquehoning, was elected president of the Nesquehoning Youth Borough Council during a meeting held last night.

The youth council also appointed the following borough officials: Larry Macaluso, chief of police; Frank Susko, police sergeant; George Bochicchio, patrolman; Janice McMichael, police woman; Samuel Oliveria, health officer; Mary Cerimele, borough secretary; and Burt Kinn, borough treasurer.

The youths will be involved in numerous activities from May 19-24 when Youth Week is observed in the borough.
