Letter to the Editor: Supports Dodson for district magistrate

I am writing this letter of support for Beth Dodson, who is running for the office of magisterial district judge for District No. 56-3-03, and ask that you vote for her in the primary election. I have known Beth for over 12 years, both professionally and personally, and I am confident that she is the best candidate for this position.

Beth is an accomplished attorney who has worked on all types of cases throughout her career: she has represented plaintiffs and defendants, she has represented individuals and businesses, she has worked in criminal and civil cases, and she has worked for small firms and the largest firms in the country. She has gained invaluable firsthand experience that can’t be learned by reading books after the election, not only in terms of interpreting and applying the law, but also in evaluating credibility, applying common sense, and, perhaps most importantly, letting all individuals tell their side of the story. Beth is known for her work ethic, attention to detail, being a zealous advocate for her clients, and her impeccable reputation, all of which will make her a strong magisterial district judge.

Aside from her undisputed qualifications for this position, Beth is the right choice for your vote because of the reasons why she is running for office. She is not trying to get a higher paycheck or earn a pension. She was born and raised in Carbon County and she returned home to work alongside others to make this community a better place. Considering her legal training, experience in the courtroom, small business ownership, hometown pride, and genuine desire to help others - vote for Beth.
