Letters to the Editor: Supports O’Gurek for district magistrate

To the voters of Carbon County,

Since being appointed to the Nesquehoning Borough Council in June, I have spent the last 10 months learning firsthand the importance of having a magisterial district judge that is willing to work with our town officials regarding blight and crime. Billy O’Gurek has spent years on a neighboring borough council, working hard on these exact issues to improve the quality of life for our area. Billy understands the importance of supporting borough code enforcement, while being fair and using a good common-sense approach to tackling blight. He also supports our local police, making crime prevention a top priority. To put it simply, Billy cares deeply about the quality of life for everyone living in Carbon County, and he won’t be afraid to make the hard decisions necessary to fight blight and crime in our neighborhoods. The primary election is May 16. I urge you to vote for Billy O’Gurek. He gets it!
