State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents:

• Police were called at 9:57 a.m. May 1 to investigate an attempted burglary in East Brunswick Township. Someone attempted to gain entrance to a wooden storage shed located next to the residence. The padlock was damaged, but it was not entered.

• Police were called at 7:08 p.m. April 13 to Fairview Street in Rush Township where the victim reported someone smashed a mailbox that contained the cash and checks, worth $1,000. Damages to the mailbox are estimated at $50, police said.

• Police are investigating the theft of numerous items from a vehicle that was parked on North Market Street in East Brunswick Township.

A 28-year-old woman from New Ringgold reported her 2015 Pacifica was entered.

An unidentified person was walking around the general vicinity, wearing a ski mask and dark clothing and carrying a light-colored book bag. Police said it is believed he stole the items between 3 p.m. April 24 and midnight April 25. The items include two rings with a value of $1,200, three debit and two credit cards, $100 in gift cards, a wallet worth $20 and a Pennsylvania driver’s license.

• Police are investigating a Cybertipline report involving pornography. Police said they were summoned at 9:17 p.m. Jan. 15 to Russell Street in Rush Township to investigate the incident.

• Bryan O’Donnell, 33, of Hazleton, is facing charges of driving under the influence after a traffic stop made at 5:41 p.m. April 15.

Police said they stopped him for a traffic violation while he was driving a 2000 Dodge Intrepid on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

• Police were called to a residence along Tamanend Road in Rush Township at 6 p.m. April 16 to investigate a Dog Law violation.

A 47-year-old woman from Quakake who reported a small dog got loose in the neighborhood.

• Police were summoned at 4:33 p.m. April 29 to investigate an attempted burglary.

Police said a white man, wearing jeans, a gray sweatshirt and a black hat attempted to enter a residence at 119 Park Place Road, Mahanoy Township.
