A Schuylkill County man is facing charges.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at 258 Mill Creek Ave., Pottsville, in East Norwegian Township, about 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6.At that location Rebecca Schaeffer, 29, and Robert Hoysock, 27, both of that address, were involved in a verbal argument.During the course of the argument Hoysock allegedly struck Schaeffer with a closed fist in the middle of her back.She fled the residence and called troopers.Hoysock was charged with harassment, troopers said.
