State police at Bethlehem report on the following cases:

• A 34-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, both from Schnecksville, were cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after they were caught stealing $127 worth of merchandise at the Weis Market, Route 873, Washington Township.

Police said the items included lotions, baby wipes and baby items.

• A home on Northwest Road in Heidelberg Township was burglarized at 5:51 p.m. Feb. 8, according to state police at the Bethlehem barracks.

Residents are 57-year-old and a 59-year-old woman, both from New Tripoli.

Police said one of them was working while the other left the home to run errands. Someone forced open the exterior and interior garage doors. Police said the thief entered the kitchen of the home and removed the alarm system.
