A 56-year-old Walnutport man was taken into custody by state police at the Bethlehem barracks after it was discovered there was a warrant for his arrest out of New Jersey against him.

Police said the man was taken into custody at 9:30 a.m. March 1 while he was attending a preliminary hearing in South Whitehall Township.
