Power outages have been reported throughout the area because of heavy rains.

PPL is reporting 146 customers out in Carbon County, including 64 in Lower Towamensing Township and 57 in Mahoning Township. Outages are also reported in East Penn, Kidder, Lausanne, Penn Forest and Packer townships.

In Lehigh County, outages are reported in Heidelberg and Washington townships.

More than 600 customers are without power in Monroe County, including seven in Chestnuthill Township and 262 in Polk Township.
