State police at Lehighton — crashes
State police at Lehighton report on the following crashes:
• Rhiannon Coleman, 29, of Bushkill, was cited for permitting a violating of a title after a two-vehicle crash at 10:10 p.m. March 29 at the intersection of Mount Eaton and Kunkletown roads in Ross Township.
Police said she was driving a 2006 Honda east on the Kunkletown Road when it sideswiped a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta driven west on Mount Eaton Road by Celona Nieves-Caban, 53, of Saylorsburg.
No one was hurt in the incident.
• A 17-year-old Kunkletown boy escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:40 a.m. April 16 on Long Mountain Road in Polk Township.
State police said he was driving a 1999 Lexus that left the road and struck a mailbox and tree.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
• Robert Kromer IV, 37, of Lehighton, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at noon April 15 on Interchange Road in Towamensing Township.
Police said he was driving a 2012 Toyota Rav4 that entered the roadway from a private driveway and was struck by a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado operated by James E. Gillen, 46, of Lehighton,
No one was injured in the crash, police said.
• Two vehicles had minor damages in a crash at 7:35 a.m. April 11 on Interchange Road (Route 209) in Polk Township.
Police said a 2006 Honda Pilot driven by Jordan P. Jiunta, 33, of Kunkletown, and a 2019 Ford F-350 driven by Michael C. Merritt, 53, of Stroudsburg, were northbound. Police said the F-350 slowed to make a turn into a driveway and was struck by the Pilot.
No one was injured.
• Diane M. Tuttle, 74, of Albrightsville, was cited after a crash at 1:56 p.m. March 29 on Scenic Drive in Polk Township.
Police said she was driving a 2022 Subaru Outback when she attempted to make an illegal U-turn and the car struck a 2015 GMC Sierra driven by Andrew A. Longenbach, 31, of Stroudsburg.
Police said no one was hurt. The vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed from the scene.
