Schuylkil-Colonial All-Star Football Game will be played on May 6 in Palmerton

The Second Annual Schuylkill League-Colonial League All-Star Football Game will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Palmerton High School.

The game will match the top seniors in the two leagues and will feature 22 players from the Times News coverage area - 10 on the Schuylkill roster and 12 on the Colonial squad.

The area players on the Schuylkill League team are:

Lehighton - Ethan Buchert, Ian Rarick, AJ Light.

Tamaqua - John Klein, Isaac Curvey, Vincent Schlosser, Ryan Snyder.

Panther Valley - Austin Hadley, David “Trey” McAndrew, Riley Hoben.

Area players on the Colonial League team are:

Palmerton - Daniel Lucykanish, Kendall Robinson, Dalton Drake.

Northern Lehigh - Seth Adams, Ben Reitz, Nick Frame, Austin Smyth, Izaiah Ramos, Jayden Krempasky, AJ Jimenez, Ethan Karpowich.

Northwestern - Josiah Gornicz.

The Schuylkill League will be coached by Tamaqua’s Sam Bonner. He will be assisted Mark Lavine (Panther Valley), Jarrett Reigel (Tamaqua), Mike Coleman (Tamaqua), Mike Bonner (Tamaqua), Duane Barron (Tamaqua), Shane Kaufman (Tamaqua), Ed Titus (Tamaqua), and Tyler Skripko (Tamaqua).

The Colonial League will be coached by Pen Argyl’s Brady Mutton. He will be assisted by Chris Walkowiak (Palmerton), Ryan Pyscher (Bangor), Matt Giovannini (Notre Dame), Eric Sampson (Pen Argyl), Jake Giovannini (Pen Argyl), Charlie Comstock (Pen Argyl) and Mitchell Knapp (Pen Argyl).

The rain date for the game is Sunday, May 7 at 3 p.m.
