Palmerton High School senior Connor Reinhard has announced plans to continue his academic and golf career at Division 3 Shenandoah University in Virginia.
Reinhard was a standout member of the Blue Bombers golf lineup for all four years of his high school career, helping the team capture four District 11 championships.
A three-year team captain, Reinhard finished as a top-10 golfer in the Colonial League post-season tournament three times and was a two-time All-Colonial League All-Star team selection,
This past season, Reinhard had a 74.0 average during the season and qualified for the PIAA State Tournament.
Reinhard is also a member of the Palmerton Student Council and the school’s International Travelers Club.
The son of Jeff and Cindy, Connor plans to major in sports management at Shenandoah.
