Additional safety and security measures will be in place Monday at Pleasant Valley School District buildings after a non-specific online threat.

High School Principal Brian Boylan alerted parents to the precautions in a phone call Sunday night.

“A vague, non-specific statement was made during a social media chat site group discussion on Sunday that alarmed the participants,” Boylan said. “The concern was reported to administration and out of an abundance of caution, we will have extra safety measures in place throughout the district on Monday.”
