Leonard Benick was re-elected president of the Kemmerer Memorial Playground Association, Jim Thorpe, at a meeting held last night in the YMCA.

Other officer who were retained are William Hiller, vice president; Gertrude Weiss, secretary; and Sam Miller, treasurer and park supervisor.

Miller reported to the board plans to improve upon the appearance of the bank fronting the Court House parking lot, this being an eye sore at present, especially to visitors arriving to tour the Asa Packer Mansion, reporting top soil will be applied to it after which greens will be planted.

In a separate matter, the Jim Thorpe Area School Board last night named Elmer Feuerstein to represent the district on the association board.
