Carbon County Friends of Animals is getting ready for its annual basket raffle.

The event will be held April 28 to 30 at the Orioles Community Center, 475 Drive, Lehighton. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

To help make the event, which benefits the cat shelter, a success, volunteers are needed. Anyone interested in volunteering should email Kimmy Mulik at kim@ccfoa.onmicrosoft.com or call the shelter at 570-325-9400.
