Columbus Ohio-based Consolidated Stores Corporation, the country’s largest retailer of closeout merchandise, has announced the grand opening of the company’s newest Big Lots store in Lehighton.

The store will be located in the Carbon Plaza Mall with Consolidated estimating its opening by May.

The new store will be looking to hire 30 to 35 hourly associates.

As the country’s leading closeout retailer, Big Lots stores offer consumers savings of anywhere between 30-70 percent on top-quality, name-brand closeout merchandise.
