Ferdi Godinez-Morales, 21, of Bridgeton, New Jersey, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10 p.m. Feb. 26 in Kidder Township on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

State police at the Pocono barracks said he was taken by the Palmerton Community Ambulance Association personnel to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Subaru northbound when it struck a deer that was in the road. Police said the front end of the vehicle was damaged.
