Kindergarten registration for the 2023-24 school year for Palmerton Area School District will be held at the Parkside Education Center administration office, third floor, 680 Fourth St., Palmerton.

Times for registration will be on Monday, April 3 from 1-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 4 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and on Wednesday, April 5 from 9-11:30 a.m. Parents/guardians can sign up for a time using the Google form found on www.palmerton.org. This registration is for gathering of information only. Registration is for parents or guardians only and your child does not need to attend.

Children must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2023 to attend kindergarten. Parents will need to have the child’s birth certificate or other acceptable proof of age. Proof of immunizations include 4 doses of Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (one dose on or after 4th birthday), 4 doses of Polio, 3 doses of Hepatitis B, 2 doses of Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German Measles) and 2 doses of Varicella (chicken pox) or evidence of immunity.

Parents will need two forms of identification to prove residency in the district. Parents are to complete the kindergarten registration packet, which can be found on the district website at www.palmerton.org prior to their registration appointment.
