Eight area football players, including six from Northern Lehigh, have been named to the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association Small School East roster.

The Small School game, which consists of players from 1A-3A schools, will take place on Sunday, May 21 at Bishop McDevitt’s Rocco Ortenzio Stadium. Kickoff for the game is noon. Following the Small School game will be the Big School contest, which features players from 4A-6A schools. That game will start at 5 p.m.

The District 11 Class 1A champion Bulldogs will be well-represented on the team. Senior players chosen to participate include Nick Frame at both quarterback and safety, Jayden Krempasky at defensive tackle, AJ Jimenez at defensive end, Ethan Karpowich at outside linebacker, Izaiah Ramos as an offensive athlete, and Austin Smyth at both tight end and defensive end.

Two others area players, both at wide receiver, have been named to the East team. They include Northwestern’s Cade Christopher and Palmerton’s Daniel Lucykanish.
