The Tamaqua Public Library has several upcoming events.
• Teens can learn how to make chalk paint art at from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Those ages 12 to 18 will learn how to make paints from chalk, then will create a pice of art of their own.
Call 570-668-4660 to register for this free program, or stop by the library at 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua.
• The library’s non-fiction book sale in honor of Presidents’ Day opens Tuesday.
Selections include biographies, cookbooks, self-help, crafts, and coffee table books, DVDs, crossword books, and puzzles.

• No blarney, St. Patrick’s Day is upon us.
A shamrock Cricut class is forming for 6 p.m. March 7, at the library.

A $3 donation to cover the cost of materials is asked.
