The Weatherly girls basketball team closed regular season play with a victory on Saturday.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
MMI Prep-Weatherly
Weatherly ended the regular season on a winning note, cruising to a 51-22 non-league victory over MMI.
Emma Kane scored 10 points in the first half to help the Wreckers gain a 10-point halftime lead.
The winners pulled away in the third as Bethany Houser tallied 13 of her game-high 19 points.
Kane finished with 17, while Kelly Reiner added nine.
Weatherly is now 7-15.

BOYS BASKETBALL
MMI-Weatherly
A third-quarter run powered MMI to a 54-38 non-league victory over Weatherly.
The Wreckers led by a point early in the third frame, but an 11-0 spurt by the Preppers put the visitors ahead.
Brandon Brobst scored eight of his team-high 14 points for MMI in the pivotal third period.
Weatherly’s Ian McLaurin finished with a game-high 15 points, while Corbin Wagner chipped in with eight.
The loss ended the Wreckers season at 1-21.
In the JV game, Weatherly posted a 51-14 victory behind 15 points from Ian McKeegan.
