State police at the Pocono barracks reported on a crash along the northeast extension of the turnpike in Lehigh County involving a Walnutport truck driver.

Troopers said the crash occurred at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 19 in North Whitehall Township. Troopers said Richard H. Harvey Jr., 61, of Bordentown, New Jersey, was driving a 2018 Maserati M15 northbound in the left lane when he lost control. The car struck the concrete barrier on the left and the hit a 2020 Freightliner rig operated by Stephen J. Carr, 58, of Walnutport.

No one was injured and both vehicles were towed. Harvey was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed and Carr was cited for financial responsibility - no insurance.
