A student at the Schuylkill Intermediate School, located at 17 Maple Ave., in Norwegian Township, has been cited for an incident at the school.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said on Jan. 10 at 10:47 a.m. troopers were dispatched to the school for a 16-year-old female student from Pottsville throwing chairs during class.

As a result the teen was cited for disorderly conduct.
