Phone service in the Shenandoah area was interrupted recently.

State police at Frackville reported that someone cut three small wires to a Verizon landline cabinet causing a disruption of Verizon service in Shenandoah.

The incident occurred on Jan. 15 at 1 a.m. Damages were estimated at $500.
