Glenn Beers was elected chairman of the Eldred Township Board of Supervisors during a reorganizational meeting held Tuesday in the municipal building.

Joining him at the session were supervisors Sharon Solt and Ilene Eckhart, the latter having been elected vice chairman.

The board appointed Sharon Solt as its secretary/treasurer and named Attorney Michael Kaspszyk as its solicitor.

Other appointments were: Jack Jolly, engineer; Russ Kresge, alternate engineer; Clair Borger, roadmaster; Scott Brown, Christopher Taylor and Jacob Schray, sewage enforcement officers; and zoning and codes enforcement officers and UCC inspector officer, Spotts, Stevens and McCoy.
