Emergency personnel were on the scene Wednesday afternoon when a truck ran off the road on the Broad Mountain and crashed.

The incident on Route 93 truck crashed at 1:30 p.m.

Police said the driver of the tractor trailer failed to stop at the stop sign at the truck pulloff on top of the Broad Mountain, while also exceeding the weight limit and length of a trailer. The rig is leaking diesel fuel from the saddle tanks. The driver escaped serious injury.
