An early morning incident Saturday along Route 61 in Port Clinton caused serious damage to a popular eatery. A tractor trailer traveling south at 4 a.m. veered to the right striking the front of the Port Clinton Hotel, ripping off the front porch then continuing on striking a utility pole and the side of the Port Clinton Peanut Shop.
